What is visualisation? it’s a very ancient and powerful tool to help you to relax, release and realise. I will explain those 3 “R’s”in a moment. For now, let’s focus on the fact that you use visualisation all the time whether you know it or not. You are doing it through your very powerful unconscious mind.

The unconscious mind is your operating system, just like your smart phone has an operating system, your powerful unconscious mind is running all day every day and yes, even when you sleep. Your unconscious mind understands instruction and has no concept of time, only what you tell it to believe.

Luckily for us the outcome of the power of visualisation can take some time, imagine visualising an elephant and suddenly one appears right in front of you. So, the time it takes to truly become a tangible thing depends entirely on your own faith and belief in what is possible for your unconscious mind.

When we visualise goals as complete, it creates a conflict in our unconscious mind between what we are visualising and what we currently have. Our minds are hard-wired to resolve such conflicts by working to create a current reality that matches the one we have envisioned.

Let’s look at the 3 “R’s” of visualisation

1.     RELAX

This is the most important and probably the best precursor for any successful visualisation practice to work in a positive way is to RELAX. Of course, you can use anxiety and your fears will consume you too. So, let’s look at how we can relax for maximised results. Find a quiet spot and be comfortable. Focus deeply on your breath, breathing in from your nose and out from your mouth and just drop your muscles and completely relax. If relaxing is a challenge for your mind, try to stay in the present moment

2.     RELEASE

Release all negativity in your mind by beginning to picture what it is that you would like – right now I am guessing that every person on this planet is wanting healing and health, so visualise it, see it as if it is right now, and, you will release the old thought patterns and create ones where only health and wellbeing exits. When working on your goals release them from your mind and thoughts and bring them into a tangible sphere make a VISION BOARD – everything you have ever wanted can be found in a magazine for a physical board or on the internet for a digital board. Place your vision board somewhere accessible daily and remind yourself that these goals, dreams, visions already exist.

3.     REALISE

Visualisation activates the creative powers of the subconscious mind, motivating it to work harder at creating solutions. You’ll also notice new levels of motivation and find yourself doing things that normally you would avoid, but that will take you closer to success.

According to Jack Canfield, the way visualisation boosts success is by programming the Reticular Activating System (RAS), which serves as a mental filter for the 8 million bits of information that are streaming into our brains at any one time. So, keep your focus on the very things you want and go ahead and REALISE your dreams

For a start try those 3 R’s at least twice a day and watch the awesomeness unfold. Just like the saying “be careful what you ask for, you just might get it” well, go out and “Fetch your life” – Prince Kaybee

A great way to really get some traction on your goals is to fuel them with your senses, what do they look like in detail, what do they sound like in detail what is the movement and motion how do you feel when living in this amazing new creation and life you have created. Visualisation is what gets you positive right here right now.

Relax, release and realise.

For the next 21 days visualise yourself in your new state and create the life you deserve and desire.

If you still need convincing picture something small like a cup of tea or a glass of water and see it in front of you and pretend to taste it and watch, someone will offer you just that

Happy Visualising!
